St. Martha’s Baby Project

St. Martha’s Baby Project equips low-income parents with infant layettes.

What We Do

Each year, we provide an average of 700 layettes to low-income mothers at the hospital following the birth of their baby. We work with many local hospitals and it is the hospital Social Workers that identify the mothers that are in need. Many of the mothers are single, young and lack a support system.

We also provide case management and parenting classes to each participating family.

How To Help

Each layette is valued at $150 – Most of what we provide in the layette is donated by people just like you. If you would like to help through donations or volunteering, please see the opportunities below.

Each Layette is equipped with new items for newborns. We are always in need of new blankets, clothing, bibs, diapers, wipes, bottles, onesies, etc.
